The Alabama Baseball team earned a much needed win over Memphis tonight 4-2. Bama scored 3 in the first off a double by Overstreet. Outstanding pitching by Hawley (starter for first 6 innings) and Hubbard (relief over the final 3) made the early lead stand up and Bama added a late insurance run in the 8th.

This win is greatly welcomed as we start SEC play this Friday against Tennessee. Hopefully this will jump start the Bama offense which has been sorely lacking in the recent days. A 5 game losing streak was snapped tonight a streak in which Bama was shut out twice and held to just 3 runs twice.
