January 7, 2010 marked the end of an era for the Longhorns as the Alabama Crimson Tide crushed Texas in the BCS Championship Game 37-21.
Some would say, they never got over that game. Since then, the Burnt Orange has gone 22-16 and 11-15 in the watered down Big XII.
In great desperation, Texas head coach Mack Brown has jumped on the up-tempo offense bandwagon. The results? Two interceptions from returning starting QB David Ash in their annual spring game. Ash also threw 2 touchdown passes but they were against the Horns' number 2 defense. When they started substituting in a few first stringers into the D, that is when the turnovers began.
One of his interceptions was from a failed a shovel pass. Sound familiar?
