The Crimson White | Alabama men’s basketball team seeking shelter from storm
Sophomore guard Retin Obasohan said Henderson’s speed and competitiveness make him a unique challenge to guard. "He runs full speed all around the court," Obasohan said. "It’s hard to tag a player that runs that fast and has such a quick trigger and who really shoots the lights out."
I would say stop Henderson and you stop Ole Miss but...
Alabama prepared for more than Marshall Henderson when it hosts Ole Miss | AL.com
"I think you're mistaken if you look at Ole Miss as a one-man team," Grant said. "Obviously, Marshall Henderson's a big part of what they do ... They've got a lot of good players." Specifically, Ole Miss (16-7, 7-3 SEC) has more than one good guard, as junior guard Jarvis Summers is averaging nearly as many points (17.4) and Henderson (19.6) per game.
Man, wouldn't it be nice if Bama had two players who scored 17+ pts per game?
ESPN analyst Dick Vitale explains what's going wrong with Alabama basketball program | AL.com
AL.com: There's increasing pressure from the Alabama fan base on Grant. What's it like coaching on the hot seat? How do you deal with outside pressure?
Vitale: "Well, one thing he has years on his contract, that's No. 1. And No. 2, you have to have confidence in yourself and feel good about yourself. You can't really live for everybody else. The bottom line is he's going to have to get some players and turn things around, obviously in the future because today in coaching with all the scrutiny, the evaluations with social media and all, it's a tough, tough situation.
"You gotta win. You gotta at least be, when you're at a school like Alabama, you want to be in the postseason."
Winning cures all ills but the fact is Alabama just doesn't have the horses to win enough to make even the simplest cough go away.. Ole Miss has at least two scorers that average nearly 20 pts a game. Alabama has one. Look, this isn't college football where the HUNH can circumvent a lack of talent. When you are not a talented basketball team, and you struggle to score points, it's going to show on the court and in the wins/loss column.

Alabama signee Rashaan Evans on Auburn backlash: 'It's getting worse' (Twitter reacts) | AL.com
"It's getting worse," Evans told TideSports.com. "Someone actually put out an article about my family's business telling all Auburn fans not to go there. We are going to eventually start losing money. People are telling restaurants in the town not to serve us." "People on Instagram are telling me how they hope I tear my ACL in game one," Evans said. "They will laugh when I do. They are saying my family is horrible and how they didn't raise me right. It's just crazy."
Good grief. I know Alabama fans don't have the right to point the finger at any fan base for overreacting (See comments made to Cade Foster following the Auburn loss) but Lord have mercy Barners, get a grip. It's just football and even at that it's just one recruit...
