With recruiting for the Class of 2014 fast approaching its end, much attention is being turned towards future classes. The Crimson Tide has been hosting many juniors and a few sophomores this weekend at their Alabama Junior Day and came out with two new commitments for the Class of 2015.
Another local makes good as Alabama picks up offensive guard Lester Cotton (6-5/309). He is a 4-star recruit from Central High School in Tuscaloosa. As you may expect, Cotton is a lifelong Bama fan. Cotton chose Bama over offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, MSU, and Southern Cal.
Below is a video of Cotton (#76 in red) going head-to-head with 2014 Tennessee commitment Cory Thomas (#34 in white). Thomas who is 6-6 and 270 lbs. had received offers from Alabama, FSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Clemson and many more. You be the judge who got the better of this match-up:

Nick Saban continues his invasion of the Bayou State with Saturday's commitment of 4-star Daylon Charlot. The 6-0, 180 lbs wide receiver had 48 catches, 1,055 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns this past season. As a sophomore, he had over 900 receiving yards and 15 total touchdowns. He was clocked at 4.48 in the 40 after his sophomore year. He told nola.com he wants to get it down to 4.3.

FYI, Patterson High School in Louisiana is the same school where all the Hilliards went (Ike, Ivory, Dalton, Kenny...)
(Remember that all verbal commitments are non-binding and any recruit is free to change his mind at any time up until he signs his name on the the dotted line. And even then...)
