Bama wins Friday night game 7-6


Bama baseball defeated 9th ranked Ole Miss Friday night, 7-6. In what was expected to be a pitchers dual between Bama's Spencer Turnbull and Chris Ellis of Ole Miss, turned into an early slugfest. Ellis was knocked out after 2 plus innings, and Turnbull gutted out 6 2/3 innings. Ben Moore had a home run among his three hits, and Wade Wass slapped two doubles. Chance Vincent added his first career home run. Thomas Burrows pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and was fabulous. Turnbull earned the victory and Burrows the save. game two is Saturday at 605pm and will be televised on CSS. Bama baseball fever! catch it. RTR
