A-Day Mayday

Hiya, kids. I've only got a few minutes, so I'll keep this brief.

If you love Alabama football, even a little, then get your rear end to BDS this Saturday.

I know it's Easter weekend. I know the gymnastics team should be locking down another national championship in Birmingham. I know it could rain. I know that, if it doesn't rain, it could be too hot. I know you live too far away. I know you have other responsibilities.

I know you think it doesn't really matter.

It does.

A lot.

A-Day attendance has been monumental in affecting the direction of this program. Our SRO attendance in 2007 blew the minds of players and recruits alike, and it warmed the heart of a certain Coach Nick Saban to the point that he felt like he just might finally be home. This is a man who doesn't use many words lightly, and he makes a point every year to thank the fans who show up to watch this glorified scrimmage.

It matters.

It matters to CNS, and it should matter to you.

Over the past seven years, we've set some spring attendance records. We've also won a few national titles. The fact that these events have overlapped is not coincidence.

Last year, we finished second nationally in spring game attendance. First nationally? Auburn. I can't seem to recall...did we beat them last year, or not? Coincidence, or not? You want to take that chance...again?

Show up, people. Please. Pretty please. Show up.

I'll see you there.

Roll Tide.
