On Saturday Jay Shaw was the winning pitcher and Burrows claimed his 8th save of the year.On Friday Will Haynie had a home run, Casey Hughston, Ben Moore and Georgie Salem had two hits each. On Saturday Wade Wass had three hits including a home run, and Kyle Overstreet had three as well. Hughston and Moore again had two hits each. The winning run scored on a hit batter (Chance Vincent) with the bases loaded in the top of the ninth inning. The team goes for the sweep on Sunday with Jonathan Keller on the mound. The Tide is alone in first place in SEC with a 12-5 mark. This team is good, this team is exciting, and this team is young, and hungry. Story will be up after the series.
