WE PAID FOUR MILLION DOLLARS FOR THIS??!!?!?!

Now that we've gotten the expected media response out of the way, a tip of the hat to the Georgia Bulldogs on playing a great game and coming away with the win. Best of luck to the rest of the season. We'll be here tomorrow to breakdown what happened. For now...

Ah Mcphee...eases the pain...

There is hope.
If you can only find one ray of hope out of this game is that if this had been last year, would have gotten 30 hung on us and given up in the second half.

For Second
I don't see LSU falling to anyone except maybe florida and after today that doesn't look likely.

Good effort boys
Never happy with losing, but I loved the never give up attitude we had towards the end.

The fact...
...that we even took it to overtime after playing like complete crap is a testament to the "never say die" attitude. Frustrated of course, but proud that we at least forced them into a game.

Hey, a loss sucks
but Georgia is very talented.  We played awful for nearly three quarters and still came back and sent it to overtime.  This shows just how young we are, and how we are still lacking talent in some areas (corners, anyone?) compared to most of the SEC.  We are not going to blow anyone out, and I think these last minute games are going to be our hallmark this year.  We are still looking at probably 9-3 or, best case, 10-2.

Guys, if someone told you two months ago that we would be 3-1 heading into the FSU game, wouldn't you have been excited?  We still have a very real chance to be 7-1 playing against LSU.  I am not at all dissappointed by the game - JP needs to settle down, but we played a hell of a game against a more talented team, IMO, and a coach who is use to winning big on the road...

Wow!!
Anyone still think we win 11 games. The fact that anyone thought that shows that people got caught in the hype and maybe were delusional. I believe in the process this team is going through and will stop watching games with "expectations". Win or lose, this team is building for something that might take 2 maybe even 3 years to accomplish. Right now we just don't have the horses. You are right, the fact that we forced it to OT says a lot about our players and coaching staff. The good news is now i won't have to listen to Saban mania crap for a while. Lets get off the man and start paying more attention to the team.

Just so everyone understands
Im not being negative, im being realistic. 9 wins is a great season, 10 is amazing but if win 10, or by a miracle 11, where do we go from there? It will take a few years for Saban to get he guys he wants to make us into a legit 10-11 win team. Be patient and don't expect anything but for out team to compete and learn.

Stay Classy Tuscaloosa
"All three were part of the Georgia's postgame celebration. As they cascaded down on Henderson in the corner of the south end zone, drinks and plastic cups poured out of Alabama's student section."

Thats real nice behaviour Tide fans.  Way to take the high road!

Wow. That's like the pot calling
the kettle black, flamer.  Whether in Carolina or Georgia, I don't think the educational divide is that great, IMO.

Stay Classy, Athens
"Georgia fans were throwing "projectiles" at the Auburn team following the November 12th, 2005"

Yeah, you guys did it too.  It is unacceptable, but, hey, it happens and I hate it.  I hope at least some of those students were reprimanded.

Oh yeah, I loved how your players taunted after nearly every play and celebrated every two yard gain like they had just won the game.  Unless you were watching a different game than me, you guys came way to close to losing, so I am not sure I would be an ass and talk trash on the opposing fans blog.

I was in the student section...
...and I didn't like the fact that cups and stuff were being thrown, but for those of you not right in that corner (where I was), there was a lot of taunting be done by the Georgia players. Some of them were screaming and pointing at fan and giving obscene hand gestures. It was a poor display by both groups. And in my opinion, it honestly doesn't matter who started it. The fans shouldn't have done it (or reacted) and the Georgia players shouldn't have done (or should have walked away.) Neither party was innocent in that.
