A new era is beginning in College Baseball, all in the name of safety. While hitters may not care for the change, the effect should be pitching will finally catch up with the hitting in college baseball.
This may be a blessing in disguise for the Crimson Tide baseball team as many of their quality hitting lineup left/graduated last year. I fully expect a statistically better year for Kilcrease and the rest of the pitching staff.
