Todd: This is a tough one to call. Rice is riding a six game winning streak, including a quality win at C-USA foe Tulsa, while the Troy Trojans have dominated their conference while being competitive in tough paycheck games like Florida State and Georgia Tech. When it comes down to it, though, Rice has played better teams and really put it together in the second half of the season, while Troy has simply been the best of the worst. I'm picking Rice here.
Nico: I know I should be falling for the cinderalla story that Rice hasn't been to a bowl in several decades, but I typically like to see the two mid-major teams from the state of Alabama do well, so I'll be cheering on the real Troy in this one.
Irrational Bama Fan: Bama is 0-3 against Rice. Of course, that was back when Rice was good (i.e., the late fifties), but still. Trojans it is.
