Todd: These lower tier bowls are so hard to pick since both teams typically squeaked into bowl contention with crap wins over 1-AA teams, but thankfully the Big East has a decent representative to make things easier. I'm going with USF here, simply because the only truly quality win ECU can claim was over Eastern Divisioin champ Southern Miss, while USF can claim one over West Virginia, and also a quality loss to Rutgers.
Nico: The irrational Bama fan in me should cheer on East Carolina since Jim Leavitt once snubbed Alabama, but I did attend USF for one semester and somehow managed to develop a mild interest in seeing them do well. GO BULLS!
