Todd: This is probably the most unfair of the bowl selections out there. The Lobos barely got bowl eligible after losing their opener to 1-AA Portland State and Utah is the only bowl bound team they managed to beat. If this weren't "The New Mexico Bowl" and it weren't being played on the Lobos's own field, there is no way this team would have gotten a bid over a similarly 6-6 Wyoming team that beat the Lobos on their home field and have a 5-3 conference record versus the 4-4 mark sported by the Lobos. That being said though, I'm going to watch and pull for the Lobos since I had a successful dynasty with them in NCAA 2006 and have just started one in '07.
