Todd: Does the scoreboard at Sam Boyd Stadium reach triple digits? BYU brings in the #5 ranked offense in the country while the Oregon Ducks aren't far behind at #8. BYU, however is sitting at 10-2 while the Ducks have a 7-5 mark and are riding a three game losing streak. When it comes to defense, Oregon isn't all that hot, ranking 30th in the country in total defense, but BYU is even worse sitting at #51 and giving up an average of 324.08 ypg. Still, if this comes down to a shootout like I think it will be I have to think the Cougars have the edge.
Nico: When I was a little kid, I had an Oregon Ducks t-shirt. I don't remember anything about the team nor did I have an affinity for them, it was just a shirt I wore that my mom brought back for me from a business trip to Oregon. I liked the shirt a lot though. I thought the logo was cool. That being said, I'm cheering for BYU in this one since Oregon got a win they shouldn't have earlier this year against Oklahoma. Nothing personal Ducks (since it wasn't your fault), but I can't cheer you on in '06. Maybe next year.
Irrational Bama Fan: Neither Nico or I could come up with any irrational reason to hate either team, so I'm just going to say screw Oregon, since Eugene is filled with dirty hippies and as a good, decent, football loving, God fearing American, it is my sworn duty to hate hippies.
