The Tuscaloosa News is reporting that UA officials plan to announce Rodriguez as the new head coach today:
The announcement is expected after negotiations with Rodriguez' representatives produced substantial agreement on contractual issues on Thursday afternoon, sources close to those negotiations told The Tuscaloosa News. However, Rodriguez -- who was travelling back to West Virginia from Florida on Thursday night and was delayed en route by inclement weather -- still had to sign off on the offer, the sources said.
