Let it be known that I loathe preseason polls. I don't think much of polls in the first two or three weeks of the season either to tell the truth. However, I signed onto the BlogPoll and they do a preseason poll, so I'm going to submit one that's just as full of conjecture as the AP and the coaches' poll.
Please chime in on it in the comments section since I have a few days to submit it.

This year is too wide open to pick anything with great confidence. Texas, USC, Georgia, Alabama and Virginia Tech are some of the prominent teams with new QBs. I can't fathom Michigan being unranked at season's end two years in a row. Iowa's probably going to step it up a notch or two from last season.
Since it is so wide open this year, I went ahead and gave Texas the #1 spot. They've been winning, so I'll let 'em have the top spot for now.
