Three new college blogs have been added to the SBN family, so check 'em out: Ramblin' Racket (Georgia Tech), Rakes of Mallow (Notre Dame), and Black Shoe Diaries (Penn State). I'm eagerly awaiting Auburn & Tennessee blogs so I can do some trash talking within SBNation.

Even though it's a bit early, I want to direct your attention to the Bama Hoops blog. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. It's a basketball blog at a football crazy school.

Paul Westerdawg takes a shot at Lou Holtz.

Beginning next week, I'm going to finish the season previews and I have a bunch of other good stuff on tap for you. I hurt my back on Monday in a bizarre classroom accident (had to get my back x-rayed...thankfully everything's okay) and have been exhausted between dealing with that and finishing this semester. That's why the blogging has been fairly light lately. Anyway, I'm going to turn it up a notch in the coming weeks.

ROLL TIDE!
