Sunday Quick Hits

  • DeMeco Ryans had a good debut with the Houston Texans. In one half of play, he had six tackles (4 solo) and that led the team.
  • Cornelius Bennett was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame last night. Congrats to Biscuit!

It's fitting that the CFBHOF is in South Bend and that Bennet's most famous play happened against Notre Dame

  • Tide basketball player Ronald Steele got to play against Michael Jordan recently.  Steele had this to say about Jordan:
"It's amazing to watch him out there on the court and see how good he is. Even at 43, he's the best player I've ever seen."
  • Interesting article about Hawaii center Samson Satele (6'3" - 311 lbs) from The Honolulu Advertiser. Satele let his teammates have it after the team received punishment as a whole for the errors of a few.
  • Tomorrow I will be going to the Tide's open scrimmage and will hopefully have decent photos to show and good information to report. I will also have several game previews up this week as well some other good stuff.
