What to Watch: Week Two (Part 2 of 4)

vs.
6. Minnesota at California
Saturday, September 9 - 6:00 p.m.
TBS

Cal has another interesting intersectional game in Week 2 after playing Tennessee in Week 1. While this meeting doesn't hold the appeal of their first game, it would still be a good resume win for Cal. If they can dust off an SEC team and a Big 10 team in back to back weeks they will be generating some buzz (before going on vacation in Week 3 when they play I-AA Portland State.)

vs.
5. Oregon at Fresno State
Saturday, September 9 - 9:00 p.m.
ESPN2

Fresno State is one of the teams people are mentioning in the same sentence as the phrase "BCS busters" in 2006. Their performance against Oregon will certainly show whether or not Fresno State is up to the task of BCS busting. They get the Ducks at home and they only lost to them by a field goal last year in Eugene. Oregon hosts Oklahoma in Week 3 and that big game will surely be one they're looking forward to so they need to stay focused on Fresno State.
