Most people are guessing the Bama vs. Hawaii kickoff will be at 6:00 p.m.
Last week, I posted about how Alabama and Florida were in a battle to NOT be on the 11:30 a.m. Lincoln-Financial broadcast for their home openers. Well, a decision has been made:
They're going to air the Georgia vs. Western Kentucky game.
I'm sure that the SEC and LF did not want to have a game against a I-AA team televised (even regionally) when the other two match-ups were much more appealing to the viewer, but I don't really care since we have been spared from having to roast like lamb over a fire in a back alley kabob stand in Athens, Hellas. Expect an early evening kickoff on pay-per-view.
I know that Alabama fans (at least the ones with tickets) are happy (there are celebration threads on several Bama message boards that I check) and I'm sure Florida fans are also pleased with the decision.
Anyway, here is the official announcement.
