What to Watch: Week Two (Part 3 of 4)

vs.
4. Clemson at Boston College
Saturday, September 9 - 2:30 p.m.
ABC

Clemson has appeared as high as #12 in the preseason rankings I've looked at and a lot of people think BC could have an impressive season as well. Along with Florida State, there's a general consensus that these two are in the race for the Atlantic Division title in the ACC. Whoever wins this one will have a good shot at making the title game if they can also get past FSU.

vs.
3. Georgia at South Carolina
Saturday, September 9 - 6:45 p.m.
ESPN

Last year, South Carolina gave Georgia everything they had and put quite a scare on the Dawgs in Athens. Georgia won 17-15. Everyone (except Georgia fans) will want to see if Spurrier can reassert his dominance over the Bulldogs. SC beat Florida last year and was only a handful of points away from a 9-2 regular season (they lost to Georgia by two, and to Clemson by four.) Alabama and Auburn were the only two teams to put severe beatdowns on South Carolina last year. If anybody can make the Gamecocks a threat in the SEC, it's Spurrier.
