The Alabama vs. Duke game will be a PPV game kicking off at 6:07 p.m. on October 7th. I was really hoping that game would be picked up by Lincoln Financial since it featured an SEC team against an ACC team. They could have saved cash by broadcasting the one game all over that weekend instead of producing two games. I clearly need to be in charge of that operation.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, Ravi Shankar and Anoushka Shankar are playing that night in Birmingham and I was hoping to go to both. Ravi Shankar is over 80 years old now and opportunities to see him are going to be quite limited. The Duke game will be a bloodbath (it better be anyway), so I've got a decision to make soon.
