Tidesports confirms that Major Applewhite has been hired, but his specific duties haven't been determined. With Card Chronicle reporting that Louisville QB coach Jeff Brohm is staying at U of L, it's looking like Applewhite could very well be the new OC for the Tide instead of simply coaching the QBs.
