Saban is in Tuscaloosa, and he'll be formally introduced as the new head coach of the Crimson Tide tomorrow at 10 a.m.
New University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban arrived at the Tuscaloosa airport at 3:47 p.m. and chose to shake hands with fans, setting off a near mob scene.
"I just want to talk to the people," Saban said as he was thronged by reporters and hustled off the tarmac.
