Florida vs Vanderbilt
11/03 - 11:30am CST
Lincoln Financial

OTS:
The 'Dores are a great story and only one win away from a potential bowl berth. Florida, on the other hand, comes in struggling, and they only narrowly edged Vanderbilt a year ago. Considering that this is a sandwich game for the Gators, they may be overlooking Vanderbilt a bit, and I wouldn't be totally shocked at an upset. But nevertheless, you really cannot go against the Gators. I say Florida wins it.

Todd:
Vandy got their big upset over South Carolina, so Florida should be safe. Still, they might be gritting their teeth and praying for a stop from their soft secondary.

Georgia vs Troy
11/03 - 12pm CST

OTS:
The other Trojans aren't that bad of a team, just ask Oklahoma State. They are currently 6-2 -- the two losses coming to Florida and Arkansas -- and have blown out everyone on their level. This one may be a lot closer than you think, especially if UGA has another down game, and an upset shouldn't overly shock you. Still, it's hard to pick against UGA, so I'll go with the Dawgs.

Todd:
Troy is a damn good team, but with Haugabook is injured so I think the Dawgs can breathe a sigh of relief.

Ole Miss vs Northwestern State
11/03 - 1pm CST

OTS:
This one is a no-brainer. Ole Miss wins, but the biggest story will still be that Johnny Reb had to sell 20,000 tickets at $5 each just to get close to filling the already small Vaught-Hemingway.

Todd:
This will likely be the last win of the season for the Rebels.

Auburn vs Tennessee Tech
11/03 - 1:30pm CST

OTS:
Another no-brainer. These guys couldn't even beat Samford, much less Auburn.

Todd:
1AA matches at the end of the season are teh lame.

Tennessee vs La-Lafayette
11/03 - 3pm CST

OTS:
LaMarcus Coker and Demonte Bolden are both suspended for one game -- shocking how good of a timing that is, especially with the Hogs next week -- but that won't matter. The Ragin' Cajuns are one of the worst teams in the country, and the Vols will win with ease.

Todd:
UT should have no trouble in this one. Might as well be a 1AA match.

Alabama vs LSU
11/03 - 3pm CST
CBS

OTS:
See the extended preview. LSU should win, no doubt about it, and in all likelihood they will probably win. But you know how it goes, as a 'Bama homer you have to pick the Tide, even in the face of impending doom.

Todd:
Gotta go with the Tide here, but not just as a homer pick. I think the staff has the smarts to come up with a winning game plan, now it's just up to the team to pull together and play their best to overcome the lack of depth.

Arkansas vs South Carolina
11/03 - 7pm CST
ESPN2

OTS:
I've seen saying it for a few weeks now: The Hogs have the best single player in the country, the best rushing attack in the country, and one of the SEC's top defenses. They will be getting some big wins down the stretch, you may as well get used to it. The Gamecocks are obviously not a good team, and the Arkansas defense will shut down their anemic offense. And you have to know that if LSU could run for over 300 yards against SoCar, Arkansas will have a big rushing night. The Hogs win it. And considering they are a 4.5 point favorite, apparently I am not the only one who thinks so.

Todd:
I don't think SC will roll over or anything, but Arkansas should be able to do what they do best; line up and pound the ball all game long.

Virginia vs Wake Forest
11/03 - 11am CST

OTS:
The Cavaliers are a surprise team at 7-2, but they've had a lot of luck. They beat North Carolina by two, Middle Tennessee by two, Connecticut by one, and Maryland by one. That's four wins by a combined six points. And that was before losing to a 2-5 North Carolina State team. Obviously, they are nowhere near as good of a team as their record indicates. Wake Forest isn't great, but they are likely the better of the two squads and as such I'll go with the Demon Deacons.

Todd:
Virginia has gotten exceptionally lucky over the course of the season, but it ran out last weekend against a bad NC State team. They'll continue their skid into a terrible bowl this week.

Notre Dame vs Navy
11/03 - 1:30pm CST
NBC

OTS:
The Midshipmen haven't beaten the Irish since before the last time Grandma got laid, but I'll go with them here. This isn't one of Paul Johnson's better squads, but it's almost impossible to pick the Irish against any halfway formidable opponent, and that is what Navy is, so I'll go with them. Admittedly though, Notre Dame has almost as good of a chance to win it.

Todd:
I hate picking the Irish here, because it makes me look like I hate America, which I don't, but Navy's D is so bad that it finally cost them a game against 1AA Deleware. The held Temple to 10 to start the season, but just about everyone else has dropped at least 30 on them. I'm going contrarian here, and picking ND.

Colorado vs Missouri
11/03 - 5:30pm CST

OTS:
This one is a major trap game for the Tigers. A loss here and they can still end up sitting at home for the Big 12 Championship Game even if they can beat Kansas. That said, I expect the Tigers to roll on yet another big day from Chase Daniel. The Buffs aren't a bad squad, and they have a couple of good wins -- Oklahoma and Texas Tech -- but they also have a couple of big losses, and I expect them to follow up a big win over Texas Tech with a disappointing showing against a better Missouri team.

Todd:
Colorado has had some good showings so far, and Mizzou is due to implode. Another contrarian pick.

Michigan State vs Michigan
11/03 - 2:30pm CST
ABC

OTS:
It's hard to go against the Wolverines considering the roll that they have been on, and I won't do that here. I'm going with Michigan. However, don't be shocked at an upset. This is a fairly decent Michigan State team, and the status of Henne and Hart is uncertain at the moment. The Wolverines may find themselves without either of the two when they make the trek to Lansing.

Todd:
State has pulled it's usual "hot start, stumbling finish" routine, even with a new coaching staff. I hate Michigan, but I'm going with them here.

Oregon vs Arizona State
11/03 - 5:45pm CST
ESPN

OTS:
Ah, the game that should be huge but due to the Pac-10's crappy TV contract is barely getting on TV. Oregon has played as well as anyone in the country over the past several weeks, and Dennis Dixon has the Heisman wrapped up if he keeps playing this way. The Sun Devils, on the other hand, are no shabby team, and they have fought hard to rally from deficits all year long. I would be tempted to go with them, but the injury to Sam Carpenter -- which will likely slightly hinder his ability to throw the football -- will keep me from doing so. That said, though, ASU is a good football team, and they may very well pull it out. And you may as well get used to it, if these guys can knock off Oregon they have a great chance of getting to New Orleans. All of the fans of the one-loss teams that are hoping to make the national championship game better be pulling hard for the Ducks, they may be the only one that can knock off ASU.

Todd:
ASU QB Carpenter is apparently throwing in practice, but you have to think he won't be near 100% for the game. Oregon won't be able to run up the score and yardage like usual against a pretty good Sun Devil D. If Carpenter were healthy, I'd go with them, but as it is I like the Ducks.
