The Huskers held off a rallying Tide yesterday to take the series 2-1. Bama trailed 6-3 heading into the ninth, but scored two runs on three hits before Kent Matthes and Matt Bentley struck out to leave the tying run stranded on second. The Tide returns to action Wednesday, paying a visit to the Samford Bulldogs before welcoming Tennessee (boo! hiss!) to Sewell-Thomas over the weekend.

The Teagles extended their win streak to six by sweeping the visiting Boilermakers over the weekend. They'll host a two game series with VMI Tuesday and Wednesday before traveling to Athens on Friday.

LSU saw it's four game win streak come to an end when it dropped the series finale with Southern Miss Sunday afternoon, but looks to rebound quickly when they host McNeese State Tuesday before traveling to South Carolina to open conference play.

The Rebs took their weekend series with the visiting Bruins two games to one after downing UCLA 4-1 on Sunday, prompting a quick SEC RULZ PAC10DRULLZZZZ!!!!!111@. They'll travel to Jonesboro on Tuesday to take on Arkansas State before opening conference play in Nasvhille against the Commodores.

The Aggies completed their sweep of Florida yesterday afternoon, dominating the Gators throughout the weekend. The Gators return home to face Army Wednesday night, and then begin their conference schedule with a visit from Mississippi State.

The 'Cats are having their best season ever, starting off 16-0 for the first time in the program's 103 year history after a sweep of UT-Martin. UK gets the week off to celebrate before hosting Arkansas over the weekend.

After dropping a road game in Charleston, the 'Cocks bounced back with a dominating sweep of visiting Brown. They'll host Appalachian State on Tuesday and Wednesday before welcoming LSU to Columbia for the weekend.

The Vols (boo! hiss!) rebounded nicely after dropping their series with Illinois-Chicago last weekend, reeling off four straight, including a thriller yesterday, to sweep visiting Siena. They'll have their final tune up on Wednesday against Morehead State before traveling to Tuscaloosa (hooray!) to start conference play.
