Oregon leads the all-time series 2-0. They last met in Houston in 2005 with the Ducks winning 38-24.
Admittedly, this game won't get much national attention. It better get your attention as a Bama fan though since we play Houston later in the year. I know Kevin Kolb is gone and that they won't likely be a 10 win team again this year (especially considering they're traveling to Oregon and Bama), but I still want to see how their new squad shapes up in a tough road game even if it is a month before they head to T-Town. They gave Miami and South Carolina both all they wanted last year and both teams were lucky to escape with a victory over the Cougars.
Oregon finished last season with a 7-6 record (including one very dubious win over Oklahoma) after winning their first four games. I expect Oregon to win this one, but like I said, the Bama fan in me wants to see it (if it's televised) or at least conduct a thorough reading of the box score if it doesn't wind up on the tube.
