After back to back losses, things won't get any easier for the Tide as #17 Nebraska pulls into Sewell-Thomas tonight for the first of a three game series.  The mid-week losses dropped Alabama to 12-4 on the season, while the Huskers are sporting a 6-4 record.  For more info on the Huskers' season, check out Corn Nation.

Last season's series saw the Tide swept in Lincoln before winning 13 of the next 18 and the SEC title.  Although our batting average is better this time around (.323 vs .263), there are still questions facing the Tide heading into tonight's game, with pitching at the top of the list.  Alabama had to use three relievers in it's last two losses, and how they bounce back will be crucial in the first "premiere series" of the season.

Alabama's scheduled rotation is sophomore left-hander Miers Quigley (2-0, 1.48 ERA), sophomore right-hander Casey Kebodeaux (2-1, 142), and senior right-hander Bernard Robert (2-0, 1.80).

Robert pitched Tuesday and Kebodeaux threw 2 2/3 innings in relief Wednesday.

Sophomore Tommy Hunter (ankle) is expected to be available, and depending on how the series progresses could start. He's 2-1, with a 1.89 ERA.

Tonight's game is set to start at 6:30, and you can listen in on the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
