When it rains it pours doesn't it?
A third UA player was arrested over the weekend. Brandon Fanney, a defensive lineman that was converted to the new defensive end/linebacker "jack" position was arrested after an altercation outside of a nightclub early Saturday morning. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Saban is going to have his hands full with this and the Deaderick and Upchurch arrests when he gets back in town.
It'll be interesting to see how all of this plays out and what Saban does considering how harshly Shula was criticized for his punishment of players. Not that I think Saban cares what Shula did, but I think there is a heightened interest in the punishment because of Saban's newness around here and Shula's stance on punishments.
Can fall practice hurry up and get here so these guys will be too tired to go out and get into "altercations" on the weekends?
