We're introducing a new feature here today at RBR called "Know Your Enemy." It will (normally) run on Monday and Tuesday except for when there are Monday games (such as next week) and will have the following format:
Monday: Teams we're playing will be listed in the order that we play them and we will chart the result of their most recent game giving a few general comments about each game including significant statistics. We will also post their overall season record.
Tuesday: Tuesday will see the teams we're playing listed in the order we play them and will include their opponent for the upcoming week as well as the TV listings for every team we're playing over the course of that season for a given week. All times listed are for the Central Time Zone, the good and right and true time zone.
This is a good way to keep an eye on future opponents on a weekly basis as well as keeping an eye on past opponents over the course of the season so we can have a better perspective on our result against a particular team.
Since there were no games last week Week 1 will only feature one "Know Your Enemy" post and it is kind of a hybrid of some of what the Monday & Tuesday posts will include. I included last year's season record for Week 1. Over the course of the season I think this will be a valuable reference tool to keep an eye on everyone we're playing. I hope y'all enjoy it. Saturday can't get here soon enough.
