Post-LSU Injury Updates

We've been quite fortunate in terms of injuries this year, but we did have a couple of dings during the LSU game.

Tailback Roy Upchurch experienced neck / shoulder spasms during pre-game warm-ups, and did not play in the game. The injury has not been reported to be football-related, and it seems like just something that happens in the normal course of life. Wide receiver Earl Alexander was also injured Saturday, as he had a slight shoulder dislocation when he attempted to reach the ball out over the goal line on the play that ultimately resulted in a fumble.

At this point, according to Coach Saban in his Monday press conference, both players are listed as questionable for the Mississippi State game, and both will be getting MRI's. It's hard to say anything definitive at this point, but I would speculate that both will probably miss the MSU game, but hopefully both should be back and healthy for the Auburn game and the SEC Championship Game.

The good news is that, hopefully, we won't need either of them against MSU.
