Glen Coffee to the NFL, or "Seriously Glen?"

Good luck and all, but really?

Both al.com and TideSports.com are reporting that Glen Coffee has opted to enter the NFL Draft instead of coming back for his senior season.  After the breakout year he had in 2008 (and somehow managing not to talk to an agent before the Sugar Bowl), I can't wish him anything but the best of luck in the draft and his pro career.  That being said, seriously Glen Coffee?  Were you not aware that Beanie Wells, Knowshon Moreno, Shonn Greene, Donald Brown, and now LeSean McCoy are all also in this year's draft?  Because if you were, then obviously the NFL Draft Advisory Board must have told you something that you really liked the sound of.  Otherwise, oops.  Let's take a look at some of the competition among this year's crop of RBs:

Not the prettiest picture for our boy, really, and I have to wonder what would make a guy like Coffee who would certainly be the featured back in the offense next year forego the opportunity to increase his draft stock with a follow up to his stellar performance in '08 to gamble on sliding well into the late rounds of the first day, or worse.
