Alabama added today the second members of its 2011 recruiting class with the commitment of Brent Calloway. Standing at approximately 6'2 and 210 pounds, the rising junior Calloway is expected to be one of the top in-state prospects of the 2011 class. He has played the past two seasons at tailback for Russellville High, but Alabama is apparently looking for him to play linebacker. Judging by his size and frame, I would imagine we want him to play strongside linebacker in Nick Saban's 3-4 scheme.
At any rate, Calloway becomes the second commitment of the day, and he also becomes the second member of the 2011 recruiting class, joining Vigor's Marvin Shinn.
