A-Day: The Most Popular Spring Game in The Land

According to SportsBusiness Daily, the 91,312 Crimson Tide fans who showed up at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the annual A-Day game on April 17 set the attendance record for Spring Games this year (HT: EDSBS). The 2010 game saw 7,262 more fans on hand than last year's game but fell short of the record 92,138 set in 2007 in coach Nick Saban's first season.

Alabama's 2010 total was a good 17% more than the next closest attendance figure among BCS Conference schools, 77,936 at Nebraska's spring game. The total number of folks on hand for the A-Day was also 44% more than showed up for other spring game held in the state on the same day.
