POLL: Ducks or Cardinal?

In 2007, LSU needed some pretty improbable things to happen in order to position itself to be in the BCS Championship Game. Chief among them was the need for West Virginia to lose at home to 4-7 Pitt. The Mountaineers were a 28 point favorite over the Panthers and a win would have cemented their place in the BCS Championship Game against Ohio State. Fate, however, had other plans and the Wannstache came up with a huge upset.

Despite losing to LSU, Alabama is in a good position to face the Tigers in a rematch in New Orleans, but we need a little help getting there. OTS is going to post about this in detail soon, so I'll only touch on piece of the puzzle #1: Stanford must lose. The Cardinal has three regular season games remaining: Oregon, Cal, and Notre Dame. The Oregon game is this weekend and obviously their toughest remaining opponent. The Ducks let us down mightily in January and here we are having to cast our lot with them again.

The question this week is simple: Who wins in Palo Alto this weekend?
