Want to know how boring football for breakfast is this morning? Houston v. Southern Miss is the national broadcast on ABC. No word yet on whether or not Kevin Sumlin wears his Texas A&M garb. Want another sign of the sad state of college football affairs? The Cincinnati v. UConn game on ESPN will decide who earns a BCS bowl berth.

The only match-up this morning of passing relevance is in Manhattan, Kansas, where 9-2 Kansas State looks to keep its BCS hopes alive against 6-5 Iowa State. As you will undoubtedly recall, Paul Rhoads is the man and all, but realistically it'd be nice to see the Cyclones get taken behind the woodshed today. How much does it really matter? Probably very little, if any, but it would be comforting to see the voters given one final reminder of just how big of a debacle that Oklahoma State loss in Ames really was. Biggest problem? It's probably not on TV where you are, so good luck with that.

Chime in here with all of your thoughts and comments.
