POLL: How Many Points Will Alabama Need to Score to Beat LSU?

Points don't come easy when these two meet. How many points will Bama need to score to win?

There's a lot riding on this game...as usual.

Despite losing to Florida and being taken down to the wire by Auburn, Texas A&M and South Carolina (not to mention giving up 22 points to Towson), make no mistake about it, LSU is not going to roll over and play dead just because a bunch of guys in crimson jerseys called the Alabama Crimson Tide (who also happen to be ranked #1) are showing up to play. LSU is still third in total defense and Les "Pulls Wins Out of His Ass" Miles is still their coach. It's a program that expects to win, and it's one that usually does....even more so at home. The Tigers are riding a 22 game home winning streak. They've only lost at home twice since we beat them there in 2008 (Ole Miss in 2008 & Florida in 2009.)

And then there's that little matter of us shutting them out 21-0 in the BCS Championship Game in New Orleans in January. They're a good team. They're a pissed off team. They're a team out for revenge. That being said, on paper, we should win. We have a better defense, we have a better offense, we have a better coach. Chances are though, we're in for a hell of a fight and not a repeat of the total dominance of January 9th in the Superdome. We've held them to 9 points in our last two meetings, yet are 1-1 in those games. If this is another low scoring defensive battle, we may need our offense to rise up and win it for the team. With all of that in mind, how many points will Alabama need to score to beat LSU?
