SEC Softball Tournament Championship Game Open Thread | Them Again?

Crimson Tide Softball attempts to secure both the regular season and tournament championships in a half hour, facing the Florida Gators one more time. Alabama defeated Georgia yesterday thanks to a solo shot homer from Courtney Conley in the third inning and some solid defensive play to keep the Bulldogs scoreless despite giving them several opportunities. Jackie Traina pitched a complete game, giving up six hits and striking out five, to improve to 33-2 on the season:

"I wish she'd get three up, three down, for sure, with nobody on," Murphy said. "It's like the pressure sets in when there's somebody on and then she goes to work. It's kind of strange. She did it for sure last year, and she's done it for probably the past month this year. Everybody's very pleased that she's wearing Crimson, for sure."

The #3 seed Florida Gators enter the tournament championship game after topping LSU 1-0 and upsetting #2 seed Tennessee 2-1 (LOL). They'll be looking for revenge after giving the regular season title to the Tide here at Rhoads Stadium one week ago. First pitch is set for 12:00pm CST, with ESPN2 providing television coverage. Gametracker can be found here, and radio is provided by WVUA 90.7 FM (live stream).
