Your Friday Hoodoo Thread | Week Four

You're welcome. Also love that the music makes it sound like a Steven Soderbergh movie.

You may have noticed that there wasn't a tailgating recipe this morning, but since this weekend is going to be a little different for me I thought I'd try something different for the hoodoo as well. See, I won't be watching the game tomorrow. Instead I'll be in Atlanta at a wedding. That's right, I have a friend who is so completely thoughtless and self centered that she scheduled her wedding during football season. She's also an Auburn fan, but really only cares when they are good and she can talk a bunch of smack (so basically just a regular Auburn fans). And not only that, the wedding starts at the exact same time as kick off. All I can hope is that the service is short and I can put in a quick enough appearance at the reception to get to a bar and watch the second half. This will most likely not happen, and I will be very mad, but it is what it is and she's one of my oldest and dearest friends (and the guy she's marrying is pretty stand up, too), so I'm taking the bullet and using this as an opportunity to display the cruelty of fall weddings and imploring anyone who reads this to think of their friends and family while scheduling their nuptials. All of that is to say that in addition to my standing pledge to read 50 Shades of Grey in return for an SEC Title (and perform and record a dramatic reading from said book for a BCS title), I am making a special one time only vow to hopefully mitigate my absence in the eyes of the Football Gods. Last week I owned up to recording "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," so this week I will pledge to prepare and eat the absolutely disgusting "butter and ketchup sketti" that was featured on a recent episode. A clip of it's preparation can be found after the jump, so behold the sketti in all it's white trash glory, and while you're at it throw in your own embarrassing admissions/oathes/pledges/assorted hoodoos in the comments below.
