Alabama picked up its first commitment of the 2014 recruiting class on Friday night when Northridge junior running back Bo Scarbrough committed to the Crimson Tide, according to a report from The Crimson White. "It’s been on my mind since day one and I was trying to hold out until my 12th grade year, but I couldn’t hold it anymore," Scarbrough told the Crimson White. "I just want to say "Roll Tide." "I looked at every school and I saw what types of backs they had, and I think I’ll fit perfectly in Alabama’s offense," Scarbrough said. "I want to run behind lineman like D.J. Fluker and play in the backfield with backs like T.J. Yeldon."

Matt Scalici: Five-star RB Bo Scarbrough commits to Alabama No major surprise given the location, but a major recruiting pick-up nevertheless. Scarbrough looks to be one of the top players nationally in the 2014 class, and with his size he could possibly project to several different positions.
