The early college football games were dominated by the SEC East with three very entertaining games:
South Carolina 21 Tennessee 23 - Final
Georgia 27 Vanderbilt 31 - Final
Florida 17 Missouri 36 - Final
In those games, we saw four targeting calls, three that led to ejections. One was by Georgia's Ray Drew which I found ridiculous. The other UGA call was on Ramik Wilson on a Vandy 4th down. The replay official overturned it but the Commodores still got the 15 yards, the first down, and eventual touchdown. Man, I HATE this rule. Florida had a targeting call against safety Cody Riggs. If you want to see it, check it out here. South Carolina had one called on Kadetrix Marcus. See it here. Did I mention I hate this rule?
