As you probably know by now, safety Vinnie Sunseri came out with a knee injury after covering on a kickoff. He will get MRI on Monday. Nick Saban said it could be a "serious" injury. Landon Collins and Geno Smith saw extended playing time at safety.

Cornerback Bradley Sylve who has started the last two games has a high ankle sprain. He is day-to-day and his participation next Saturday is yet to be determined. John Fulton, Eddie Jackson, Cyrus Jones (interception), and Maurice Smith are among the candidates to start against Tennessee.

Running back Altee Tenpenny has turf toe and is also day-to-day.

In related news, injured center and former starter Ryan Kelly was dressed out after suffering a sprain of his medial collateral ligament (MCL) against Ole Miss on September 28. Chad Lindsay backed up by Kellen Williams have been manning the center position in his absence and doing a pretty good job of it. I can't see Lindsay coming out of there anytime soon. But don't cry for Kelly. He is still a sophomore.

The Kids Are Alright

Many young'ns saw playing time and performed well. As per the last few games, true freshman Grant Hill has been splitting time with Austin Shepherd at right tackle.

Among the others of note includes kicker Adam Griffith (three kickoffs, two touchbacks, extra point), LB Reuben Foster (1 assist), LB Tim Williams (1 solo), LB Dillon Lee (1 solo, 1 assist, 2 QBH), DE Jonathan Allen (1 solo), DT Darren Lake (2 solo, 1 assist), WR Chris Black, WR Raheem Falkins.

Many walk-ons saw time as well: safety Jai Miller, TE/HB Corey McCarron (AJ's bro), long snapper M.K. Taylor, WR Parker Barrineau.
