My photo skills aren't great and my phone died around half time of the game but here are some pictures from our trip. Enjoy.
The Hunter Gatherer/Pawley's Front Porch
William-Brice/ Tailgating
The "Cockaboose"'
We were told these things cost $150,000 to rent during the season. I got nothing....
USC showing the Auburn/UGA game on the big screen was awful nice.
Honestly, one of the loudest moments all night was when they showed the final score of the AU/UGA game. We laughed out loud.
Concession stand right outside men's bathroom?
Florida band (Slice was impressed and may be a mini UF fan now)
I had to explain to more than a few USC fans why UF fans were saying "Gator Bait". Thought that was odd.
Some Sakerlina Gumps
Just moments before kick and the "Sandstorm".
That was one of the more electrifying pre-game experiences I have ever witnessed. Honestly, the USC fans, at least right before kick, were much louder than anything I've experienced in BDS. After that, I was underwhelmed by the fans.
USC Weight Room
I laughed a little when I saw they are still using the Bama win in '10 as motivation.
Campus
The famous Horseshoe
Thanks Hampton!
I have to say thank you again to Hampton Inn and SB Nation for a wonderful trip. Hampton took care of our every need and even thought ahead to schedule car service for us to and from William-Brice. They were very gracious hosts.
I have to say I took a lot away from experiencing a 'game day' through the eyes of South Carolina fans. It gave me a renewed appreciation for the history and traditions of Alabama and generally speaking, outside of only one negative interaction with a 'Cock, the USCe fans were pleasant, respectful and very enthusiastic.
Slice will have a more detailed post up soon regarding our trip but if you want more information on Hampton Inn, please click here.
