Precaution in Washington not affecting Alabama football team's trip | al.com
The Alabama football team had left the White House on Monday afternoon before precautionary lockdown measures were taken in response to bombings in Boston, according to a team spokesman.
There really are no words that can adequately describe the events that took place yesterday in Boston. In fact, you shouldn't even attempt to understand or explain the type of evil that it takes to cowardly place bombs in trashcans and detonate them in a crowd of innocent people. All you can do is pray for the victims and hope swift justice comes to the guilty.

Oh we are SO having a special A-Day Embarrassing Admissions thread. The last thing 'Bama needs is major injuries to key players. @Given the way the defense has performed so far we may as well just go 7 on 7 for A-Day@
28-year-old Jai Miller returns for chance with Alabama Crimson Tide - ESPN
"He's catching on way faster than I did when I first got here," said safety Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, a rising junior and likely starter for the Tide. "He's catching on and learning very well and picking up and making a big improvement and change in the secondary."
Great news for Jai and our secondary. Still a long way to go before we know if he will have a serious impact on the defense but he has the tools to be successful. Me thinks his age, experience in pro ball and maturity has helped with picking up the defense faster than the younger guys. Keep it up young old man we may just find a use for you.
