"I’m pretty much where I want to be as far as a scale to get back to 100 percent," Mosley said after Tuesday's practice. "I’m shedding blocks as much as I can, I’m thudding the runners. "It’s still spring, like I said, so there’s no rush to re-injure my shoulder."
Why on earth would a linebacker be asked to play in a scrimmage if he "won't be hitting"? I'm sorry but that's like telling a running back, "Hey you can play, but you can't run". Forget the fact that there is no need for him, or even AJ for that matter, to participate in the scrimmage, it's just pointless to have him out there. Hopefully, he sits on the sideline and acts more like a coach for the young players rather than risking hurting the shoulder, again.
We can say that the Raiders just weren't a good fit for McClain but at the end of the day he needs to man up and stop being stupid. And if there is one organization that can provide guidance to an otherwise lost, frustrated soul
because they were able to keep a murderer quiet it would be the Ravens.
I really hope for McClain's sake he focuses on football and finally plays to his potential. He can be a great linebacker if put in the right mix of leadership and structure. Hope for the best.
"I remember the first scrimmage AJ was in, we made him play with the threes," Saban said with a grin. "He was hot behind the collar and fussing out on the field and stormed up to my office when the scrimmage was over and said, 'How come you made me play with the threes? I thought I was going to be with the twos.' I said, 'We're only evaluating your leadership today and you failed.'" Damn...

emphasis mine. That had to be a humiliating but enlightening moment for AJ. I've had these types of tests before and have failed and they always made me stronger. This is just a glimpse into the brain of Saban and further proof of the Process© firmly at work.
It's time once again to remind you that if you must be a horrible person, there are slightly less horrible ways to do it.
