We learnin stuff, y'all.

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

Last week we spent quite a bit of time looking at different Alabama running backs and their impact on the team's success over the past 4-5 years. This week we will be focusing on the defensive side of the ball and more specifically, Linebackers.

Today's gem comes from then Arkansas State's head coach and Auburn's new head coach Gus Malzahn. Now, most of us here love to rip Auburn every chance we get and honestly it's quite easy these days. Gus isn't exactly our most favorite person ever. However, in this context, he actually has some insight about how best to attack an Alabama defense. We may find his offense gimmicky but I don't think anyone can question that Gus knows Alabama pretty well.

This is a retread of a video we posted here a while back but who are we to ignore the classics. And though it doesn't focus primarily on Linebackers, the video still gives us some good insight on how Coach Saban and Smart have designed the 'Bama 3-4.

Enjoy and try to learn something.
