Per Coach Saban, Geno Smith has been suspended for one game.

Geno good person in program, made poor decision.</p>— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) <a href="https://twitter.com/AaronSuttles/statuses/369958424634982400">August 20, 2013</a></blockquote>

He said Geno is a "really good person" he made several "bad choices" and those choices have "serious consequences". He mentioned that Geno has never been in his office for any issues and has been a positive influence on the team.
More notes from Saban:
Trey Depriest has to work his way back up the depth chart (Expect a similar statement about Geno in a few weeks))
Reuben Foster has made a lot of progress, especially in scrimmages. Hints at possible playing time. "We are increasing his reps"
He's very excited about Jarrick Williams and said he's had a fantastic camp.
That was really it folks. Short and sweet.
Roll Tide.
