Win-Loss Record key:
- SEC - conference record
- P5 - non-SEC record against Power 5
- MM - record against Mid Majors/Non-Power 5 but projected bowl participant
- CC - record against cupcakes
Vanderbilt Commodores (3-9, SEC 0-8, P5 0-0, MM 0-0, CC 3-1)
Vanderbilt isn't going anywhere.
Kentucky Wildcats (5-7, SEC 2-6, P5 0-1, MM 0-0, CC 3-0)
Kentucky fans can turn their full time attention to basketball if they haven't already.
Arkansas Razorbacks (6-6, SEC 2-6, P5 1-0, MM 1-0, CC 2-0)
Arkansas looks to be traveling to beautiful downtown Shreveport, La. for the Independence Bowl 12/27/14 (SEC vs. ACC) 2:30pm/3:30pm ABC It's about a 5-hour drive from Fayetteville and a lot closer than several of the other options.
Tennessee Volunteers (6-6, SEC 3-5, P5 0-1, MM 2-0, CC 1-0)
Some home cooking for Tennessee as they get the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn. 12/29/14 (Big 12 vs. SEC) 1pm/2pm ESPN
Auburn Tigers (8-4, SEC 4-4, P5 1-0, MM 0-0, CC 3-0)
Auburn may be tuning it up at the Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tenn. 12/30/14 (ACC/Big Ten vs. SEC) 2pm/3pm ESPN
Ole Miss Rebels (9-3, SEC 5-3, P5 0-0, MM 1-0, CC 3-0)
Ole Miss has been getting some serious love. They might just find themselves in JerryWorld for the Cotton Bowl, Arlington, Tex. 1/1/15 (At Large vs. At Large) 11:30am/12:30pm ESPN
South Carolina Gamecocks (6-6, SEC 3-5, P5 0-1, MM 1-0, CC 2-0)
It looks like South Carolina will go through the motions at the Birmingham Bowl Birmingham, Ala. 1/3/15 (American vs. SEC) 12noon/1pm ESPN or ESPN2 (I guess they will do rock-paper-scissors to see who gets stuck with this dog).
Florida Gators (6-5, SEC 4-4, P5 0-1, MM 0-0, CC 2-0)
This was a crazy one. I saw predictions for Florida going to the Birmingham, Independence, TaxSlayer, Belk, Music City, New Orleans, Armed Forces, Heart of Dallas, Quick Lane in Detroit, and even the Cactus Bowl in Arizona of all places. It's anyone's guess but my feeling is Jacksonville (TaxSlayer Bowl) doesn't really want them around right now and they end up in the Belk Bowl Charlotte, N.C. 12/30/14 (ACC vs. SEC) 5:30pm/6:30pm ESPN
Texas A&M Aggies (7-5, SEC 3-5, P5 0-0, MM 0-0, CC 4-0)
For awhile it looked like a classic rivalry would be reborn with Texas A&M facing off against Texas in the Texas Bowl in Houston. However, a Scout.com columnist reported that the SEC was blocking such a game because the Aggies would have too much to lose in recruiting now that they have the advantage in the state. Therefore, it's the TaxSlayer Bowl Jacksonville, Fla. 1/2/15 (ACC/Big Ten vs. SEC) 2:20pm/3:20pm ESPN
LSU Tigers (8-4, SEC 4-4, P5 1-0, MM 0-0, CC 3-0)
LSU looks like the SEC representative in the Texas Bowl Houston, Tex. 12/29/14 (Big 12 vs. SEC) 8pm/9pm ESPN
Mississippi State Bulldogs (10-2, SEC 6-2, P5 0-0, MM 0-0, CC 4-0)
Mississippi State will hit the big stage at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Fla. 12/31/14 (ACC vs SEC/Big Ten) 7pm/8pm ESPN
Missouri Tigers (10-2, SEC 7-1, P5 0-1, MM 0-0, CC 3-0)
The Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. looks like the landing spot for Missouri, 1/1/15 (ACC/Big Ten vs. SEC) 12noon/1pm ABC
Georgia Bulldogs (9-3, SEC 6-2, P5 1-1, MM 0-0, CC 2-0)
Georgia at the Outback Bowl Tampa, Fla. makes perfect sense, 1/1/15 (Big Ten vs. SEC) 11am/12noon ESPN2
Alabama Crimson Tide (11-1, SEC 7-1, P5 1-0, MM 0-0, CC 3-0)
If all goes according to plan on Saturday, Alabama will be back in New Orleans and in the Sugar Bowl for the playoff semifinal 1/1/15 (#1 vs. #4) 7:30pm/8:30pm ESPN
