It was a tough day at the office for Alabama on Monday but it isn't over until it is over. The Crimson Tide still has two more chances to win this series.

FLORIDA 5 BAMA 0

After pitching three straight days of lights out pitching, Jaclyn Jackie J-Train Traina ran into some trouble against the Gators. She was roughed up for 8 hits and 5 runs over 6.1 innings. In retrospect, perhaps coach Patrick Murphy should have Leslie Jury or Sydney Littlejohn to give Traina some rest. We may see one of those two pitchers in tonight's game.

Meanwhile, the bats were pretty cold as the Tide managed only 4 singles and 0 walks. Kaila Hunt was 2 for 3.

FLORIDA

Gators catcher Aubree Munro led off the scoring with a third inning solo home run. Florida started a two-out rally  in the fifth with a bunt-single, a double, and two more singles that plated two. They capped the scoring with two in the seventh.

Pitcher Hannah Rogers has held opponents scoreless in 46 of her past 47 innings. Monday night, she gave up 4 singles with no walks and three strikeouts on only 80 pitches. Like Traina, she has pitched four straight days.

It will be interesting to see who starts tonight's game for each team.
