Five-Star Running Back Damien Harris to Announce College Decision

Will Harris add even more star power to the Tide's top recruiting class, or be the hometown hero of the Kentucky program?

The day is finally here. Damien Harris has long been the object of discussion for fans across the nation, typically those of the Alabama or Kentucky variety. At 12:15 (1:15 Eastern), Harris will announce his college decision via live-stream. USA Today has live stream free for all of you at this link.

Most have considered Harris a lean to go to the Kentucky Wildcats and be the hometown hero, but the attractiveness of Alabama's football program to high school kids has been well documented. On top of that, Bama early-enrollee Blake Barnett has been good friends with Harris ever since Nike's The Opening camp last summer, and the relationship seemed to have solidified during the UnderArmour All-America Game practices. Speaking of the UnderArmour game, Harris looked pretty excited when 5-Star cornerback Kendall Sheffield committed to the Tide...

My gut says Harris stays at home with Kentucky, but the Crimson Tide has a real chance to pad their already-best-in-the-nation recruiting class.
