After a crazy first day of play in the AdvoCare Invitational, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on yet another ranked opponent in the Wichita State Shockers. Not only is this a team that Alabama has gotten very familiar with over the years, having played them multiple times in the last few seasons, the man leading the Shockers almost became especially familiar with the Tide this past offseason when Alabama made a strong move to bring Gregg Marshall to Tuscaloosa. This series has the makings of a bit of a non-conference rivalry, and there will be an extra edge in today's game for a number of reasons. Avery Johnson will undoubtedly be looking to show everybody that Bill Battle made the right choice by naming him the Crimson Tide's basketball coach.
The game tips off at 11:00 AM CST, so it will be another early start. With this being the loser's side of the bracket, the game will only be streamed on WatchESPN.
